Wynn Las Vegas Appoints Alex Cordova as Nightlife Executive VP & Managing Partner: Exclusive

Wynn Las Vegas today (March 31) announced the appointment of Alex Cordova as executive vice president and managing partner for nightlife.

Formerly Hakkasan Group’s executive vice president of marketing, Cordova will bring more than 18 years of experience to his new role overseeing operations for Wynn’s venues Surrender, XS, and Encore Beach Club, as well as new nightlife venture Intrigue, which is set to open April 28.

“Alex is a smart and savvy nightlife executive with a true passion for the business,” said Wynn Las Vegas chief operating officer Sean Christie. “He is a natural leader and will be a big asset in directing the continued success of our current nightlife offerings and overseeing Intrigue’s opening.”

Prior to its Feb. 2014 acquisition by Hakkasan Group, Cordova handled marketing for Angel Management Group. He previously oversaw marketing projects for MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment after moving to Las Vegas in 2003.
